The Maota 1MW+2MWh photovoltaic energy storage project is Linyi Electric Power's first overseas microgrid EPC project. With the organizational support of overseas companies and various departments, the equipment delivery and construction and installation work has been successfully completed.

Since the start of the project, under the difficult living conditions and extremely scarce resources at the project site, the project team overcame various living and working difficulties and coordinated with various cooperating units to successfully complete the project construction work, gaining high recognition from the general contractor and the supervisory unit.

During this epidemic, at the request of the general contractor, we need to go to the site to carry out commissioning and completion acceptance work. Currently, the global COVID-19 epidemic is still spreading. Maota has a population of over 4 million, with nearly 10,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19, posing a severe challenge to the Maota project. International flights are suspended. The general contractor organized a chartered flight to the site, but this trip is a one-way chartered flight. The general contractor organized the chartered flight for more than three months without organizing a return flight. The resumption of commercial flights is difficult to determine due to the overseas epidemic. Although the project is scheduled for one month of commissioning, it is very likely that we will not be able to return to China within half a year after the work is completed.

Comrade Yuan Chunyin of the project team accepted the mission, with a high sense of responsibility and a great spirit of sacrifice and selflessness, overcame family life difficulties, persuaded his family, fearlessly faced the dangers of the epidemic, and resolutely went to the difficult areas to carry out the project's commissioning and completion work, demonstrating the fearless difficulties and courage to take responsibility of “I am a Linyi person,” and has received affirmation and praise from the general contractor and cooperating units. With the care of the Group Company and leaders at all levels, and with Comrade Yuan Chunyin's efforts, we believe that he will surely live up to the mission and successfully complete the commissioning and completion acceptance tasks!

In order to carry forward Comrade Yuan Chunyin's courage to take responsibility, sense of responsibility for the overall situation, spirit of sacrifice and dedication, the Electric Power Group conducted internal publicity and reporting, calling on all employees to learn from him. At the same time, the party branch and trade union organizations visited and comforted his family, helping them solve their practical difficulties during their overseas stay, practicing the organizational care of “Linyi is my home.”

Linyi Electric Power's overseas personnel have always followed the Group's “going global” development strategy, cultivating the markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The returned employees will rush to the Maota project site to carry out project commissioning and completion acceptance work, creating a benchmark overseas project. To ensure that overseas project personnel can return to their posts smoothly, Linyi Electric Power Overseas has made meticulous arrangements and careful planning, strictly controlling the health of outbound personnel, receiving COVID-19 vaccinations, undergoing nucleic acid testing, purchasing accident insurance, and fully implementing epidemic prevention measures. These overseas personnel who have bravely shouldered the challenges, with a sense of mission and a high-spirited attitude, have traveled to foreign countries and actively participated in the development and execution of overseas projects.
