The product design meets market requirements and has an independent design institute. Few competitors in the same industry have their own designers. Linyi Electric Power Group's design institute has been engaged in the design of photovoltaic power stations since 2008. Over eight years, the design institute has focused on various types of power stations, starting from the design concept of optimal cost and seeking design optimization directions and overall integrated optimization from actual construction. The design institute mainly engages in electrical design and civil engineering and structural design, with a total of 42 technical R&D personnel. In 2015, 95 preliminary design projects were completed, totaling approximately 1300MW; 11 construction drawing projects were completed, totaling 160MW.

The overall task completion rate was 100%. The direct economic benefits were approximately more than 7 million yuan. Good strategic partnerships have been established with North China Power Design Institute, Northwest Power Design Institute, Southwest Power Design Institute, Central South Power Design Institute, East China Power Design Institute, and Northeast Power Design Institute.
