On July 27, the Shandong-Punjab Trade and Economic Cooperation Promotion Conference was held at the Shandong Building. Chief Minister of Punjab, Sharif, led a trade delegation of more than 70 people in attendance. Vice Governor Ji Xiangqi attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Mr. Zhang Yuan, Deputy General Manager of Linyi Power Group, signed a memorandum of understanding for a 100MW photovoltaic power station cooperation with the Minister of Energy of Punjab, Pakistan.

  Asad Rahman Gillani, Minister of Energy of Punjab Province, Pakistan, expressed his welcome to Linyi Power's investment in Pakistan. Zhang Yuan, Deputy General Manager of Linyi Power Group, stated: "Linyi Power feels honored to participate in promoting the friendly exchanges between China and Pakistan! We will take this as a starting point, meticulously organize and wholeheartedly strive to contribute reassuring projects for the Pakistani people and erect monuments to the friendship between the people of China and Pakistan."

  Punjab Province is the largest province in Pakistan, with a developed industry and an important position in the national economy. It is one of the areas with the strongest sunlight in the world, with over 3000 hours of sunshine a year and receiving 20,000 kWh/m² of solar radiation. Linyi Power's signing of the memorandum of cooperation with Punjab Province hopes to use Linyi Power's advanced solar photovoltaic system to meet the local people's energy needs while protecting the local fragile ecological environment, making a contribution to the long-term well-being of the Pakistani people.
