On October 14th, the 2016 "North Star Cup" Top Ten Photovoltaic Brands selection event, lasting 12 days, came to a successful conclusion. Initiated by the North Star PV Network, the selection event involved more than 200 photovoltaic companies. After fierce competition, Linyi Electric Power Group stood out and won the title of Top Ten Ground Power Station EPC Brand Enterprise of the 2016 "North Star Cup".

Linyi Power Group began to participate in the construction of large-scale ground power stations in 2010. In 2011, it completed the world's highest photovoltaic power station in a high-altitude city – the 10MW Shigatse Phase I Photovoltaic Power Station in Tibet – in just 126 days. At the same time, we integrate innovative concepts into the development and construction of photovoltaic power stations, focusing on innovations in photovoltaic applications. Through "photovoltaic", we create innovative photovoltaic application projects that integrate high technology, information technology, and intelligence. We explore project development and construction models that integrate photovoltaic power stations with primary industries, combining photovoltaics with agriculture and aquaculture. We have successfully developed and constructed the Zoucheng 20MW rooftop photovoltaic power station, efficiently combining photovoltaic power generation with mushroom cultivation. We are the first in the country to create the concept of "integrated medicine and photovoltaics", which has been implemented in the Linyi Technology Park's 10MW photovoltaic power station, located in the Linyi Sunlight Technology Park in Jinan, covering approximately 260 mu. The Linzhou 100MW integrated medicine and photovoltaic smart industrial park integrates the most advanced photovoltaic system design technology internationally with ecological agricultural medicinal herb planting projects to build a demonstration area for ecological agricultural Chinese medicine. Using the gaps between photovoltaic components and existing land in Longshan Subdistrict Office, an investment of 500 million yuan will be made to build a 10,000-mu Chinese herbal medicine planting base and donkey-hide gelatin donkey breeding base in central China within five years, and establish the country's largest national-level Chinese medicine rural cooperative. In the Yinan photovoltaic agricultural science and technology park project, medicinal herbs such as Salvia miltiorrhiza, Gleditsia sinensis, and Glycyrrhiza uralensis are planted under photovoltaic components, and processing plants are built to absorb and resettle about 400 impoverished households, with an average annual increase in income of 1900 yuan per person.
